Dr. Alexis Botkin is a Dermatologist, Board Certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She completed her undergraduate degree in science, as well as medical school, at the University of Manitoba in 2010. In 2015 she completed the 5 year dermatology residency program at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Botkin is a published author with scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, and the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association.
She enjoys contributing to medical education through the University of Manitoba undergraduate teaching program as well as sitting on the examination committee for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Division of Dermatology.
